Our roots run deep in the North, spanning three centuries: the 1800s, 1900s, and 2000s. The owner’s great-grandparents homesteaded just down the road on the Amnicon River near the Windmill when they immigrated from Finland and Sweden.
This rich family history and connection to the land shape our passion for the Duluth-Superior area and make A.V.A. Escapes a place where every retreat is infused with local heritage and personal meaning.
